The origins of the Dutch brand VREDESTEIN date back to 1908. At that time the company was specialized in the manufacturing of rubber products. In 1946, the American company BF GOODRICH became stockholder of the company which owned the brand VREDESTEIN. In 1971, BF GOODRICH fully acquired the Dutch company. In 1976 the company was bought by the Dutch State. In 2009 VREDESTEIN is bought by the indian company APOLLO TYRES and it became APOLLO VREDESTEIN BV. VREDESTEIN tires are still produced in Netherlands.VREDESTEIN tires are now sold in more than 125 countries worldwide and its capacity of production is 6 millions tires. APOLLO VREDESTEIN BV employs over 1,700 employees with sales offices in 18 countries.
