The history of Cooper tire & Rubber Company began in 1914, when two brothers purchased the M & M Company located in Akron (Ohio, USA) and started to produce raw material for the tire manufacture and repair kits. Today, Cooper tire is independent, the eighth largest tire manufacturer in the world. Cooper owns 60 factories in 13 countries, with more than 20,000 employees.
